Dear SPLASH users,
I am pleased to announce the release of SPLASH v2.6.0. There are no major new features aside from the new data reads, but quite a few accumulated small changes and bug fixes. Hence now is a good time to update your copy.
Download it from: http://users.monash.edu.au/~dprice/splash/releases/splash-v2.6.0.tar.gz
Or if you have a svn copy: cd splash; svn update; cd giza; svn update; cd -; make cleanall; make
New features are:
* SILO, falcON and .pbob data reads implemented
* bug fixes in gadget-hdf5 reader
* can recognise particle types in ascii read
* more robust sphNG read
* dust fraction recognised in Phantom data read
* Toomre Q works in physical units
* bug fix with disappearing units labels
* bug fix in shock tube solution
* added splash calc delta
* splash to ascii keeps precision
* better power spectra
* various minor changes and bug fixes
