The almost three-hour-long event was titled Corazón, Live From Mexico: Live It To Believe It, and not surprisingly, the concert came off as both a music revue and soul rejuvenation for those on stage and off. The camaraderie during all the duets was overflowing with lots of "corazón" and bonding on display, the second encore coming off more like a family gathering with all the siblings and cousins pal-fully jamming along. But the best word to describe the confluence of music and passion that poured off the stage is "spiritual," Carlos Santana's mission reaching way beyond merely products and broadcasts. Earlier in the day at a press conference, I asked the artist, "How does spirituality play into your creativity, where does it come from, what is the process?" His answer was enthusiastic and emotional.

Santana: Outside of your mind is the best part is. There's not gravity there. There's no time. There's no criticizing. There's just pure manifestation. It goes from God through you to them. So I'm able to adapt myself, like with "Supernatural," whether I'm playing with Lauren Hill, Rob Thomas or Eric Clapton. Whoever gets in front of me, you must listen and complement. I look forward to doing more things with Willie Nelson. I want to learn how to complement and simplify music with honesty.
The first three seasons of Glee focused on New Directions, its members, and their quest to win Nationals. At the end of season 3, they had reached their goal and most of the original glee club members prepared to move on from William McKinley High School. However, the main premise of Glee continued, and the series restarted in a way, with a new influx of members, including a new star in Marley played by Melissa Benoist, best known for the CW's Supergirl. The series also focused on Kurt and Rachel specifically in New York but initially struggled to find a balance between the two locations and storylines.
While Kurt and Rachel stayed main fixtures through their New York storyline, characters like Santana, who had been attending college in Louisville, were missed and only appeared sporadically. This changed with Glee season 4, episode 13 "Diva," when Santana left college for New York and began living with Kurt and Rachel. Through becoming roommates, and eventual coworkers, Rachel and Santana also became best friends and a perfect example of a well-done enemies-to-friends storyline. Their dynamic and the inclusion of fan-favorite Santana saved Glee in its fourth season by providing a more even balance between the old and new.
Though Santana is one of the most beloved Glee characters, Rachel Berry is one of the most controversial. Yet, they are both two sides of the same coin. Santana once told Rachel she was "the only other person at this school besides me willing to kill their best friend to get to the top," a trait she clearly admired. While Santana's mean girl persona earned her adoration, Rachel's own attitude branded her as annoying and selfish. Their friendship was somewhat wasted toward the end of Glee, which never got a season 7, but Rachel and Santana brought out both the best and worst in each other on any given day, helping each other grow beyond their high school stereotypes. Making them roommates in seasons 4 and 5 gave Glee the opportunity to show familiar characters in new dynamics, effectively saving the later seasons as they transitioned to a new format and a new cast.
Nesta Robert "Bob" Marley, OM (6 February 1945 11 May 1981) was a Jamaican singer-songwriter and musician. He was the rhythm guitarist and lead singer for the ska, rocksteady and reggae bands The Wailers (1963-1974) and Bob Marley & The Wailers (1974 1981). Marley remains the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music, and is credited with helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari movement to a worldwide audience.
Marley's music was heavily influenced by the social issues of his homeland, and he is considered to have given voice to the specific political and cultural nexus of Jamaica. His best-known hits include "I Shot the Sheriff", "No Woman, No Cry", "Could You Be Loved", "Stir It Up", "Get Up Stand Up", "Jamming", "Redemption Song", "One Love" and, "Three Little Birds", as well as the posthumous releases "Buffalo Soldier" and "Iron Lion Zion". The compilation album Legend (1984), released three years after his death, is reggae's best-selling album, going ten times Platinum which is also known as one Diamond in the U.S., and selling 25 million copies worldwide.
