Someone in my alliance was banned for using scripts. He is insisting that this is not true. He says the only way the MH could know this is by illegally accessing his laptop, but I do not think this is true. I think, personally, it'd be the same way a site detects AdBlocker, surely?

you can get the scripts from =travian opr at travian scripts. Choose the one you want and click "Install". If it shows you code, go back and right-click, then "Save target as" or "Save link as" to save it to disk. Scripts from Userscripts.org are designed for use with Firefox and Greasemonkey, but they may also work on other browsers.

If you do not have the Greasemonkey add-on, go to -US/firefox/addon/748 and click "Add to Firefox". Restart Firefox and make sure Greasemonkey is enabled (the head of a smiling monkey will appear on the taskbar in colour); if it is grey, click the monkey's head to make it coloured. Now you may install scripts which end in ".user.js". For example, "anyname.user.js". Go to =travian and choose the script you want. Click "Install", and "Install" again to install the script. You can also use File>Open to install scripts saved on your hard disc. Refresh the page you want the scripts to be run on (i.e. your Travian pages). You should see the scripts in action now.

To install the scripts in IE7Pro, change the extension from ".user.js" to ".ieuser.js" if necessary, and copy them to C:\Program Files\IEPro\userscripts. Then go to Tools>IE7Pro Preferences and click User scripts on the left side. Tick the box next to the script(s) you added and click OK, then restart Internet Explorer. Press Alt if you cannot see the Tools option. There is a repository of scripts designed/re-designed for IE7Pro at =travian&x=0&y=0 .

So i made a AI for buidling stuff also, based off JEX's code i wont post it though since i do not want everyone botting, and the creator's (travian creators) creating some anti-bot code on their page, since browser games with anti-bot sux.

Iwe got a ini file where those data are stored, if i where to not have the data, then script will load the page where those info are, and then download them, as you can read inn the console, "20:23:18 - Downloading tree data: Iron Mine Level 6".

You may find a bot or a script in many places, such as an app or another program installed onto your PC. While this is not a complete list for finding and removing them, checking your browser is a good place to start.

Script managers can also be a place where a script or bot that can affect the game can hide. You should open the manager, review all the installed scripts, and fully delete any that may be used on or impact Travian. Alternatively, consider entirely removing the script manager.

You may also play Travian on a different conventional browser without installing your usual extensions, add-ons, or script manager. If you are concerned that anything installed may be against the rules, please get in touch with Customer Services, who will help you further.

Player A sends an attack to player B. In the MySQL database this is recorded with a timestamp of arrival. Every time player A changes or refreshes a page a script gets launched (by using includes) that checks for any activity in regards to this player (reinforcements arriving, attacks arriving at targets etc.). The script obviously checks the current time and looks at all activities with a timestamp that is less than the current one. This means the action should have taken place. Right at that moment the action actually gets processed.

Good things come to those who wait.

Lots of you got angry because more and more bots and scripts were being used in Travian.

What does that mean for you?

For the fair player nothing changes, except that fair play now pays off. On the other hand a user with a detected bot or script will receive an appropriate punishment.

Please note that not all accounts on a server are checked at the same time! The detection system checks accounts on all servers on a random basis. This means that while a script user may use it for a while without problems, the moment his account is checked the trouble will start.

The detection is fully automated. 24/7 activity provides no reason to assume positive detection.

The users caught by the system will either receive captchas and also an instant punishment or will get automatically banned to discuss the ban with the Multihunter before a punishment is applied. The given punishment will get harder the more often a user gets caught by the system.

As we are modifying and improving our detection all the time we will always be one step ahead of the bot programmers even if they modify them. This means, unfair players will only have an advantage for a very short period.

It's a literal re-encoded version of Travian. Before purchasing, you can visit onlinetravian.com and see that the code has no issues. You can also make money with our script that has earned tens of thousands of dollars for years.

Though I am not an AdSense guru, but with my common sense I have mentioned some more tips to improve AdSense referral earning. Please check it out at:-

Request adminship in the Dune wiki. I have not seen the admins for some time and I have made a number of contributions since I have been there. I have also separated articles according to the canon category. Most important, there are some issues that need fixing, like pages to be deleted, custom scripts for new templates etc. MoffRebusMy Talk 07:09, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

i had no idea what ebony was before i read the article, a few years ago i got pissed at flash ads blocking the whole page and playing sounds so i installed adblock, noscript and flashblock (i even take firefox portable in a pendrive with the plugins everywhere for when i use other computers), between those and my own subconscious ad filter i avoid most of them and forget the rest as soon as i blink

I got the new version Evony 3.08. My older version was 2.16.
The new version has all references to Eric Lam and UMGE removed.
Neither the comments in the hex code nor the decompiled Actionscript have anything that refers to them.
Also the scripts that enumerated the active programs and sent and retrieved data with the remote servers is gone,
except for the actual game network link to the Evony.com game servers.
