If I hit Start and select Save and Quit from the menu then load my game again later it always returns me to the start of the level, meaning I have to go through and fight the same enemies again to get back up to where I originally saved. However, all my characters stats and items are saved.

The spawn location after exiting the game and re-entering is sort of based on the save point locations. Some are valid for game restarts; others aren't. It will spawn you next to the most recent one that is valid.

I don't have the exact rules figured out for which are and which aren't. But take into consideration that there are several "start of the level" points. So which should it choose? And since not every level has a New-U machine, or since maybe you got to the area but didn't find the New-U, it can't spawn you at one of those every time. Or maybe you were playing at one, then someone joined, walked by a spawn point further back, then you exited before getting to the next one. But maybe that save point wasn't a valid spawn location. What if you're in another player's online game in a zone you haven't accessed yet in your own game; where should it spawn you when you go back to single-player then? It's not going to spawn you so you are stuck in a zone out-leveling you so you can't fight your way to a New-U station.

In summary, yes, it is by design that you don't always spawn at the exact last save point you walked by; but it isn't completely random either. It spawns you at the most logical point based on a spawn-point rule engine of some kind.

The FT and New U stations look similar until you activate them for the first time: then fast travel stations have a glowing globe over them once activated and can be used for travel. If the globe is orange you can travel away but not back to the station.

This mod contains Borderlands 2 saved games that include all the gear in the game at OP10 level 80. Each character has modded stats including, skills, ammo, drop-able Eridium Stacks, Seraph crystals, and Torgue Tokens. For more details check the description.

Each time you play a game with sync function on steam your save file is send to steam server for a backup. If you'll install a game on a new computer (or you just formatted your hard drive) steam will download your saves from the web to allow you to resume playing. It is also useful if you have two or more computers and play sometimes on one, and sometimes on the other, because it can copy your saves between them. The problem is that your 24 level save wasn't send to steam. So when the game was launched again it should have reported that save on hard drive is out of sync with the save on steam cloud. The problem is that you probably ignored this (or some bug prevented window from poping up) and steam downloaded your older save and overwritten it on your hard drive. At least it is mine theory about what happened.

It is better made in Orgin where if there is a conflict between HDD and cloud saves the client tells you which was made when with a date and an hour, so it is harder to confuse new save with the old one.

Not even close. The other BL games had defined parameters you could exploit to get many of the trophies to auto-pop, whereas BL3 is bugged to hell and only pops a tiny number of trophies and then refuses to unlock any trophies at all on the current save. BL2 had an unfortunate glitch that prevented the all challenges trophy from popping if it hit but that was the only issue.

wondered why it seemed like a lot of cross save trophies that should have popped within requirements like BL2 haven't, thank god i've waited until summer to pick up a pS5 hopefully it'll all be resolved by that point

The Plat is now obtainable but you have to start a new game from scratch after using cross-save and getting certain trophies, because there's a bug that stop trophies from popping after a while for imported saves . Also note the Designer's Cut and Director's Cut trophies are buggy on both platforms but the Complex Made Simple trophy is very buggy on the PS5 and might not even pop.

Max level has been raised with the last patch, so level trophies may popp by raising one level with a previous character. I was max level prior to this patch (65) and I couldnt auto-pop level trophies. With the new max level we could obtain the trophies for level 10, 25 and 50 with a character previously in level 65. It's something...

Also, is that even possible to do? I know I had to export/import a save for Miles Morales for it to pick up my progress from PS4, but didn't seem to need to for Destiny 2 or Avengers (I did hit a save export thing on the PS4 version of Avengers, but didn't seem to need to do anything with respect to importing it on the PS5 version)?

1: IMO, BL3's cross-save system is a buggy waste of time, plus only a limited amount of trophies auto-pop (i.e. the location and rank trophies) so you're better off just redoing everything from scratch (which won't take long since the game is really easy these days).

2: BL3 uses the traditional in-game Cross-Save system so you must have the PS4 version installed before you can upload your currently selected character to the Cross-Save Cloud. Once uploaded, boot up the PS5 version then choose the option to download your character from the Cross-Save Cloud. Online only games such as Destiny 2, Dead by Daylight, Outriders, Fortnite etc. automatically move your save over to your current platform so there's nothing you need to do to facilitate it but Single Player games use either an in-game Cross-Save Cloud or will automatically detect the PS4 save on your Hard Drive and covert it for use with the PS5 release.

so i transfered my character from ps4 an nothing at all popped. but with a new character everything should work right? i dont care about the autopop i just dont want anything to be bugged an unobtainable now^^

Nope. It's a one way trip from the PS4 to the PS5, with no option to go the other way. Most PS5 games only support 1 way cross-save and BL3 is no exception, thus you will have to do the PS4 version from scratch if you start with the PS5 version. There are exceptions to this rule but most of them are online only affairs e.g. Fortnite, Destiny 2, Genshin Impact, Warframe etc. with only a small number of single player games mixed in e.g. Nioh, Nioh 2, AC: Valhalla and a few others.

I haven't seen anybody try strategically 'autopopping' the trophies by transferring their save before they pop certain trophies. Anyone know if that would work? (e.g. transferring before you turn in the last side quest, and before you turn in story missions that have trophies tied to them)

I have just started to figure out how to use willow tree, but the only constant that i cannot seem to change, even when I DO CHANGE it is the level that the guns are at. I edit the levels by using the edit all levels option, but all of my guns remain at level 1 b/c there is no level requirement for them, and the damage is at an average of 6. Am I not doing something right? ICT Venom 21:57, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Simple steps that mess just about everyone up ...
1 - Backup the Save file BEFORE you edit.
2 - You can't have the character you want to edit active in Borderlands. Exit that character and then open it's Save file.
3 - Quality is restricted by Level. Ex: you can't have a Q5 at Lvl0. Check the WT guide for the chart.
4 - You must hit Save Changes for each weapon. If you move off that weapon before hitting save, all changes to that weapon will be lost.
5 - You must hit Save File when completed. If making lots of changes, save often so you don't lose it all if something goes wrong.

I think I figured it out, I switched to the previous version and it warned that quality would be set to zero because there were parts that were not compatible with each other. ICT Venom 13:14, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

Ok I am having a similar issue. I am using WillowTree# I have a perfectly legit weapon and all I want to do with it now is scale it up in levels as I level up. (weapon code included) it doesn't matter what combination of level/quality I use it still loads in game with only 11 damage as a no level weapon. and before you say anything I DO save it correctly.

For unauthorized migrants, more restrictive and militarized border enforcement regimes worldwide have made transnational migration an increasingly deadly endeavor. The International Organization for Migration estimates that since the early 1990s, over 6,000 migrants have died in the US-Mexico borderlands, while over 22,000 people have perished in the Mediterranean Sea.

Since the late 1990s when the US Border Patrol adopted militarized enforcement strategies, migrant mortality rates have increased dramatically along the US-Mexico border: from 0.44 deaths/10,000 apprehensions in 1998 to 4.5/10,000 in 2005 and then to over 14/10,000 in 2011. This increase is the result of a border enforcement strategy that explicitly and intentionally funnels unauthorized migrants into more dangerous terrain in order to increase the mortal danger of unauthorized migration.
