Sai Baba: Nabi atau Pembohong?

Di Indonesia, dulu pernah "demam" Sai Baba, termausk di Solo. Mungkin rekan2 ada yang tahu menahu mengenai Sai Baba.

 

Berikut keajaiban yang dipertunjukan oleh Sai Baba.

Pada tiga film di atas, terlihat bagai mana Sai Baba membuat keajaiban. Yang pertama menciptakan kalung, yang kedua menciptakan Vhibuthi (Pasir?) dan yang ketiga menciptakan lingam (seperti bola).

 

Menurut guru saya, Sai Baba tidak menciptakan namun sekedar memindahkan barang2 tersebut (material transfer). Dan guru saya bilang:

 

"Itu ilmu material transfer bukan hal yang sulit, lha kakek moyangmu saja bisa kok".

 

Lalu saya teringat beberapa cerita mengenai kakek moyang saya, seorang pendeta tao. Lain waktu akan saya ceritakan mengenai beliau.

 

Nah, kembali ke Sai Baba, claim mengenai "menciptakan jimat/amulet", padahal "sekedar" material transfer, tentu menimbulkan tanda tanya, "Apa maunya Sai Baba?".

 

Perhatikan juga bahwa ketika "menciptakan" Vhibuthi, beliau mengumpulkan amplop dari para pengunjung. Per-tama2 saya pikir itu permohonan doa. Tapi, setelah pikir2 lagi, mungkin itu sejenis "kolekte" dan sebagai gantinya diberi pasir/vhibuthu.

 

Dan bila anda perhatikan di website Sai Baba, dia juga punya rumah sakit segala.

Sai Baba

Sai Baba is Satyanarayana Raju, an Indian guru  who goes by the name of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and who says he was born in 1926. ( Critics claim the birth date was fabricated to make it appear as if Sai Baba's birth fulfilled a prophecy of Sri Aurobindo. They say school records prove that Sai Baba was actually born in 1929.) Sai Baba is believed to be divine by himself and his followers, who allegedly number in the several millions. He claims to have paranormal powers and to be able to work miracles. Two of his favorite "miracles" are to make ashes materialize for poor people and to make jewelry materialize for rich people.

The film "Guru Busters" (Equinox) demonstrated that these alleged miracles are little more than a magician's parlor tricks. One classic line from that film came from an Indian physicist who had been given a ring allegedly materialized by Sai Baba. The physicist said that he had a doctorate from Harvard and could not possibly be fooled by a magician. How many times have we heard brilliant, though deluded, people issue a similar declaration? The film depicts a group called the Science and Rationalists' Association of India [SRAI] as they travel throughout India debunking and exposing as frauds local fakirs, godmen and godwomen. The SRAI debunkers are to India what James Randi is to America and Canada. They utilize scientific and rational principles to expose the magical art of illusion used by Hindu mystics in performing feats of levitation and other alleged miracles.

DK, believe it or not, teman saya dari S'Pore baru hari Jum'at kemarin membicarakan manusia ini dengan saya melalui chatting.

Teman saya yang ini memang cukup pintar dalam meditasi dan juga Reiki. Dia mengunjungii satu tempat pemujaan Sai Baba di daerah Bayshore S'pore disalah satu Condo mewah yang dimiliki seorang Singh (not sing) dengan istri Thai Lady. Pengakuan suami istri pemilik tempat ini adalah mereka mendapat message untuk share the gifts. Mereka hanya menerima pengunjung dengan appointment.

Teman saya sembahyang disana dan merasakan energy yang kuat sampai telapak tangan dan muka berubah menjadi merah karena panas.

Teman saya menghubungi saya karena mau mengajak saya mengunjungi tempat itu karena dia tahu saya senang melihat yang aneh2 walau susah untuk percaya.

Sai Baba of Shirdi

His birth took place around the middle of last century in the State of Hyderabad in India. He visited the village Shirdi few times and took residence there in 1872. He lived in a mosque and had many devotees and visitors. He performed many miracles, gave spiritual teachings to Hindu, Muslim, and other devotees, and died at Shirdi in 1918. Before leaving his body he told one of his devotees that he would return as a boy in 8 years.

Satya Sai Baba

Satya Sai Baba was born 8 years after the death of Shirdi Sai Baba on 23 November 1926, in a remote village of Puttaparthi in the State of Andra Predesh and was named Satyanarayana. Satya means truth and Narayana is a name for the Hindu God Vishnu. As a child he manifested supernormal powers materialising sweets, fruits and medicinal herbs for sick friends. In May 1940 at the age of 13 he declared "I am Sai Baba". Following this announcement devotees and disciples began to gather around him. He started performing amazing miracles and has been teaching and doing works of charity since. He said he would live to the age of nineties and would be born again as Prema Sai Baba.
