Our Friends at the Newman Center, 64 W. Lane Avenue, announce the following prayer service:
Taize Prayer: As I Have Loved You
All are Welcome!
St. Thomas More Newman Center
Wednesday, February 15
7:30 p.m.
Come spend an hour in prayer reflecting on God’s love and Jesus’ plea to “love one another as I have loved you.” Taize prayer is a beautiful evening of quiet, meditative, sung prayer. This style comes from a religious community in France dedicated to bringing young adults together from around the world to share the Gospel and worship together. A reflection on the theme for this prayer service is attached.
A woman who attended a recent Taize service gave the following feedback and description, “Taize Prayer is a special gift that you need to give to yourself, and once there, you will understand why.”
Please join us for Taize Prayer on Wednesday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m. ALL ARE WELCOME!
