If you aren't, we are!

Everyone's been huffing and puffing with the world cup fever on. Ok, so England didn't do very well this time, boo. Still, it's exciting to see others play, isn't it?

Apart from that, as ever, much has been happening at the CIS headquarters and here is all the good news for this month, so read on!

Listen: What's it like being a Veggie in the US?

For this podcast, we have another random yet interesting topic for a quick chat with Sanjeev from the United States. We wanted to know what it is like being a vegetarian in the US and Sanjeev shares his side of the story and the perceptions about vegetarians on the other side of the ocean. Patanjali Meditation at Bombed Out Church, Liverpool

As the weather has perked up, so have we! Our great volunteers have stepped up this year and are visiting the St Luke's Church (also called the Bombed Out Church) in Liverpool every Thursday to conduct CIS's Patanjali Meditation session.

Every Thursday from 4 pm to around 5 pm John, Arun, Joel and Miri take turns to share with you everything they have learnt in the last year as part of CIS.

So if you find yourself with some free time, just drop in!

Dr Chandra and CIS go to Wales!

We are delighted to have only this week attended the event "It is a Matter of Faith", part of Inter-Culture 2014 organised by North Wales Association for Multicultural Integration (NWAMI). Our Head of Research Dr Chandra attended on behalf of CIS and was a panel speaker at the event. Needless to say, we are pleased that there was so much enthusiasm about knowledge from the Vedas and its principles throughout.

How Meditation Made Me Wealthy

Nothing in life is going your way? Worried about debt and other things in life? Life's not meant to be a drag. Here's how someone turned things around and began to live abundantly.

For this month's Members' Speak column, one of our members Alex shares his experiences as a long term practitioner of Patanjali Meditation.

That's a Goal!

Almost. We're now going to prepare to be glued back to the screen for some more footie and some meditation during half time. Hope you have an equally wonderful summer time ahead.

Love always,

Marvin, Jeff, Andrew and Lily

(Team CIS)
