Dear Spinnaker Users Group,

I noticed errors in running the VA network on Ebrains JupyterLab Interface with  ebrains25.02 kernel.

I am attaching the errorLog and the notebook I run is in this repo.

Important: this error came from students that made the Ebrains credential recentenly, which also have different kernels than mine (eg from my JupyterLab I can select Python3 and SpiNNaker 7.4.1 and with the latter I dont receive errorrs, while them have ebrains25.02 kernels relating with the error).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Best
Alberto

Hi,

Thanks for the report.  This is something I thought was resolved, however the workaround is at least simple: please add a spynnaker.cfg (note, no dot prefix) file into the folder where the scripts are with the content:
[Java]
use_java = False

This should then fix the problem.

Let me know if it still happens though!

Andrew 🙂
