Jay Cullen Memorial Ride - 20 August 2023

On August 12, 2017, Virginia State Police LT Jay Cullen lost his life in a helicopter accident while protecting the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia in Charlottesville.  In military and aviation parlance your "six" is your back as in "I have your six".  It has been six years since we lost a legendary member of the cycling community and dear friend.  Jay was more than just a rider and racer, he was a coach and mentor to so many who crossed his path.  He always had your back and now we have Jay's "six".  

We will be hosting a social ride to celebrate his life and love for the freedom that two wheels brought him.  There will be many route options so there is no excuse not to attend.  Save the drama for your momma and get out on your bike.  We will be having a post-ride celebration of Jay's life at Triple Crossing Brewery in Winterfield Crossing.
