We're getting a head start by running Acceleration this January. Acceleration is a popular strength and speed training course conveniently located in Arden Hills. It was originally designed for hockey and track, but now the best Ultimate teams in our area, like Drag'N'Thrust and Sub Zero, are using the program.

Acceleration is optional (but highly encouraged).
Cost: $75
Included: 8 weekly sessions of 1 hour each.
When: Thursdays @ 7pm beginning in January.

What is Acceleration? This fitness program pushes your physical endurance and strength with two different workouts:
Treadmills:
These aren't your standard treadmills. They are extended and slightly wider than normal treadmills and can reach speeds of 30 mph and an incline of over 30 degrees (don't worry, these are the two extremes which we likely won't reach). The main focus of the treadmills is to work on running form, top speed, and sprint endurance.
Turf Room:
In the turf room a trainer will guide the group through a series of plyometric exercises and agility drills (while listening to dubstep). The focus here is to improve agility, strength, and burst speed.
While this program is optional, it is a great way to improve as an athlete and an Ultimate player.
