Hi,
I am trying to test the performance of certain pulse sequence with different RF inhomogeneity. But it seems that SPINEVOLUTION could not contain the RF inhomogeneity factor. Am I right? I kind of did not know how to do it.
Thanks!

Rongchun

Should I just vary the RF power with a constant 90 degree pulse length?

Rongchun

Dear Rongchun Zhang,

The way I've done this in the past is by using an average-over parameter to take the average of a distribution of RF powers (see "ave_par[Nd]" in the manual). You can use "ave_wht" to modify the distribution as you wish (if you want a Gaussian distribution of RF powers, for instance).

Best,

Pieter

That's quite a good idea.
Thanks very much, Peter.
