TheSpider-Man circuit puzzles might seem easy at first, but placing wires and matching the right voltage gets harder as the game goes on. Just like the spectrographs, there are some you have to complete as part of the remaster's main story, but there are also a whole bunch to ponder over in Octavius Labs.
The core concept is pretty simple: place down wires to direct the flow of power while inserting positive and negative sections to make sure that the voltage is correct by the time it reaches the end. They are one of the earliest ways to grab Research Tokens in the game, which are vital for getting yourself new suits, and crafting certain mods to empower you while fending off baddies. They'll also reward you with a hefty dose of XP.
In this guide, I'll walk you through how to solve every Spider-Man circuit puzzle, including those in the main story (plus a side-quest one) and the ten in Octavius Labs that unlock as you progress through the game. I've labelled each below for the quest or task they correspond to, but don't forget you can cycle through each of the galleries to see every puzzle.
There are ten circuit puzzles to solve in Octavius Labs and they'll gradually unlock throughout the main story each time you have to return. They reward XP and Research Tokens at specific milestones, as well as bonus tokens if you complete all ten.

Circuit puzzles and the less common Match the Pattern puzzles are two of the more sciency tasks you'll need to complete as Spider-Man throughout the story and around the game world.
Here on this page, we'll provide a list of Circuit puzzle solutions and Pattern puzzle solutions that you'll need to get through Spider-Man's main story missions, plus some quick tips for how to solve each of them if you'd rather work out the brain teasers yourself.
After your first one, you're going to not only need to get the current from one end to the other, but also do that whilst hitting a target "voltage" - which basically involves putting the right numbers into the "positive" and "negative" slots on the circuit board.
Trial and error is one way to do it, but you'll soon find yourself hitting a wall that way if you try it in some of the more complex puzzles with a larger selection of available pieces for you to choose from. Instead, our best advice is to turn the problem on its head.
We recommend you actually start at the end of the puzzle, rather than the beginning. By which we mean working your way backwards from the orange end piece towards the green start piece. This often narrows things down for you significantly in terms of what route you can take.
Otherwise, the main advice we have is to figure out the voltage pieces - the ones marked positive (green) and negative (red) - before you do the rest. Once you know which ones need to go where, it's simple enough to connect them together and finish the puzzle off.

Our main Spider-Man walkthrough and guide is where you'll find a hub of all our pages, or you can go straight to our guides to Resources, like Backpack Tokens, Base Tokens, Challenge Tokens, Crime Tokens, Research Tokens and Landmark Tokens, our big list of all Spider-Man suits, all Black Cat Stakeout locations, all Secret Photo Ops locations or, finally, our list of Spider-Man Circuit Puzzle and Pattern Puzzle solutions.
These ones are generally, we think, quite easy. There are also fewer pattern puzzles in Spider-Man than there are circuit puzzles, but still, they can hold you up when you miss something obvious from time to time!
There's no rule of thumb for these, but remember that the thicker lines are created by putting two lines on top of each other - so ones that line up exactly, not next to each other as you'd expect when creating a thicker line. Tackle them one at a time, and remember there are sometimes multiple solutions to the same pattern, so if you're stumped on one pattern it might be your solution to another one that you actually need to change!
Most of these reward you with a trickle of XP - 100 each - but the odd one also gives you a Research Token, and solving all of a specific kind, like say all of the Circuit Puzzles, also rewards you with four more Research Tokens. Even better, completing both sets will grant you the tophy named "A Bit of A Fixer Upper", which is nice!

Complete all optional projects in the lab Lab projects, or simply projects, are puzzle minigames in Marvel's Spider-Man. They are of two types, requiring players either to wire electric circuits (called circuit projects) or to find DNA sequences (called spectrograph projects). Following the mission My OTHER Other Job, players can participate in these projects for additional XP and Research Tokens while in Otto Octavius's lab. More projects are added over the course of the main story, along with getting more difficult over time.
Circuit projects are circuit-based puzzles that require Peter Parker to complete a disconnected circuit by reattaching a few of the available pieces. The goal is to reattach the circuit without expending all available pieces, and to ensure the positive and negative voltage gives the current the required voltage in the end.
Spectrograph projects are pattern puzzles. These require Peter to analyze a substance, by matching the patterns. To achieve this, Peter has to match a few blocks on screen, and a few pieces that cancel out other blocks, until all blocks match the patterns required.
In Marvel's Spider-Man on PS4, you can engage in some light puzzle-solving while at your job at the lab. Following the mission, My OTHER Other Job, you can start working on either Circuit Projects or Spectrograph puzzles to earn some additional XP and Research Tokens - and completing all of them will earn you a Trophy.
Circuit Projects are a kind of pipe-dream puzzle that requires you to place different kinds of circuit blocks to connect a start to end point. As you find more complex puzzles, you'll also have to worry about circuits with a certain flow, and voltages to align to the right amount.
