3 Important Updates: Timesheets + SPIKE in summer + SPIKE Showcase

Hello all,

I hope finals are going well. I have three very important updates:

1) Timesheets: Please do not leave any more timesheets at the Wasserman Center. If you need your timesheets signed by Steve, you must go to meet him yourself at the incubator. The Wasserman Center staff will not hold any more timesheets.

2) SPIKE Summer 2013: SPIKE in summer is happening, but due to limited funding, we can only have 16 students. We will finalize and announce the selections tomorrow. The selections were made based on the needs of incubator companies.

Also, SPIKE will officially begin on June 10th and end of September 5th (though some will finish earlier because you only have 200 hours and up to 35 hours / week instead of 20 hours / week).

3) SPIKE Showcase: In the last week of May, we will have the SPIKE Showcase. You will each have a table and a chance to show off your work with SPIKE this semester and present updated resumes. Faculty, Poly administration, and fellow grad students will be in attendance.

With your help at the Showcase, maybe we can secure more funding for SPIKE in the future, to hire more students or increase the pay.
