I don't see any updates to these jar files. I am scared to use SpiffyUI as jQueryUI and jQuery are coming up with latest versions and with jQueryUI2.0 on release is SpiffyUI able to adapt to these changes?

Hello,

We are in the process of moving Spiffy UI to GitHub and we have a new Spiffy UI project page here:

https://github.com/spiffyui/spiffyui

We're also hard at work on Spiffy UI 1.2. The latest snapshot has integrated the latest versions of jQuery and jQuery UI. The best place to find all of our latest snapshots is in the Sonatype OSS Snapshot repository here:

https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/spiffyui

We'll update SpiffyUI.org when version 1.2 is ready.

Thanks,
Zack

Hi Zack,

Speaking about upgrades. Now that GWT 2.5 has been officially launched, any chances to move to this version?.

Has anyone tried to make it work with 2.5 already?.

Regards,

Marcos.

Hi Marcos,

I didn't realize GWT 2.5 was out yet. I just updated my local copy of
Spiffy UI and I'm trying it out right now. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi Zack,

2.5 is awesome - mainly because of SuperDevMode - you can trace between Java and Javascript code in with Chrome's JS debugger.  For people who believe that JS + GWT is the win, this is a major step forward.  It also seems faster to compile and is definitely faster to work with.  Let me know if you get stuck, it took me a while to get it working and figure out what works/does not work.  It might well be worth checking out the head copy of GWT since I suspect they may be close to releasing 2.5.1 (just a hunch/hope).

The other thing I'm absolutely in love with is ErraiUI - which I think you'd dig as well.  It sings the song of tags-first GWT - thank got there are others who can see that HTML+CSS are the web design tools (sorry UiBinder).  I've ripped the ErraiUI code out of Errai so I could run it without the other Errai dependencies.  Errai is amazing, but huge, and has so many ambitious great things in it (realtime messaging, boilerplate killing annotations, client side JPA, and on and on)

Hey Guys,

I just finished running all of our integration tests with GWT 2.5 and
everything looks good. I've deployed the new version to our staging server
here:

http://spiffyui-staging.appspot.com

I also did some testing with existing projects using Spiffy UI 1.1 and they
upgraded to GWT 2.5 with no problems.

This all means that Spiffy UI will have GWT 2.5 as the default in version
1.2, and that you can tweak the pom.xml in your current Spiffy UI project
and use GWT 2.5 right now.

Please let us know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Thanks,
Zack

Hi Santosh,

That Google Code page is old. We've moved Spiffy UI to GitHub.

https://github.com/spiffyui

The best way to get Spiffy UI into your project is as a project dependency
using Maven or Ivy, but you can download the latest stable JARs from our
Nexus server here:

Hi Santosh,

Spiffy UI 1.1 is the latest stable version. You're welcome to try
1.2-SNAPSHOT, but we're still actively developing it so it might be a little
bumpy.
