Thanks for your interesting.

Spice is supported for xen 4.0.1, but not include qxl device.
If you are interested, pls feel free to continue qxl porting on old qemu.

The patches for spice working with upstream qemu-xen & upstream Xen
has been in the xen-unstable.
The qxl related patch in libxl is alse available, but Xen community is
preparing to release 4.2, so the qxl related patches will be delayed to discuss
in the xen 4.3 dev cycle.

And there is performance problem for qxl running on xen, discussed in Xen-ML.

In a word, you can play spice with xen-unstable now.
