Dear all,
While validating the model I have observed total volume of water for my model period is more in model compare to actual observations.  Because of that my model is over estimating in some places. I want to reduce total volume, what I have understood till now

1. ET will take away water from system
2. Low glacier discharge and low snow discharge will help me to keep total volume in check.
So if I change these I can control my total volume.
Can any one suggest me other ways by which I can reduce total volume in the system.
and for increasing ET I need to change Kc table values? or there is some other way to it?  Apart from degree-day factor for snow how i can restrict snow contribution?

My area is in mountain region I can see only in monsoon period my baseflow contribution is significant and my glacier contribution is very low.

Regards,
Manas

All processes are driven by precipitation, so that’s one of the key inputs that can lead to model biases, especially in mountainous areas where this is very uncertain. So I’d start evaluating your precipitation product. Have you compared this with station data for high elevation grid cells? And have you tried using different gridded precipitation products?
