SPHY 3.0 Temperature lapse Rate

I have setup-up SPHY 3.0 model and working on Improved Glacier Module to incorporate Glacier Mass balancing in my model. I have prepared Glacier Table having GLAC_H and ICE_DEPTH attributes. There is also one more table the module needs i.e. Temperature lapse rate in the form of a table

TLAPSE (table with lapse rates per month to lapse model grid cel temperature to glacier elevation temperature (degrees Celsius/m elevation increase))

I didn't find details about TLAPSE that what fields should be in the table? and from where i can get lapse temperature rate for my study area?

Hi,

There is no version 3.0. At least not a version that I support. You can find the latest releases here: https://sphy.readthedocs.io/en/latest/releases.html

The TLAPSE table in version 2.2.1 (latest release) is just a csv file (space-separated) with the first column being the month and the second column the lapse rate for that month. You could estimate these values by comparing several temperature stations in your basin that are situated at different altitudes.
