Root Zone and Sub Zone parameters

Is there any global Root Zone and Sub Zone parameters (Root Layer Thickness and Sublayer Thickness) data is available like other Root zone physical maps by HiHydroSoil database. I am running the model on Hindu Kush-Himalaya database but there is no Root Layer Thickness and Sublayer Thickness data in that folder. Can you please help me in this regard.

Hi,

No this data is not available. A good start is 300-400 mm for rootzone and 1500 mm for the subzone. Then you may want to calibrate those thicknesses.
