ALUMNI BASKETBALL GAME

Please note that the Alumni Basketball Game will be held at Southern
on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 4:00p.m. in the school gym. For more

MESSAGE FROM ALUMNUS RE: SPHS / WILMA THEATRE PROJECT

The following is a message from Marc Adelman, Class of 1957 regarding
his participation as an interviewee for the upcoming Wilma Theatre
production by current SPHS students.

"To all alumni:

The Wilma Theater education staff is working with our SPHS students to
produce a play that will enable the student body to develop an
appreciation for the history of the high school and how that history
is relevant to their complete education today.

I had the pleasure of being interviewed by twenty students this past
Thursday and was extremely impressed by their interest and
intelligence. My experience was very positive and I want to encourage
alumni to step up and meet our students and teachers face to face.
You can make that human connection between generations which will help
break down the barriers of indifference and mis-understanding.

2011 NEWSLETTERS MAILED

The hard copies of the 2011 Newsletters should be received in the mail
by March 1, 2011. If you are a Lifetime Member and do not receive
your copy by March 5, 2011, then chances are, we have a bad address
for you. We have removed addresses from our database for members
whose Newsletters were returned in the last couple of years so we do
not waste postage on mailing to the same bad addresses again.
