PLEASE FORWARD WIDELY:

Are you a campus Palestine solidarity activist? Inspired by the
amazing BDS successes at Hampshire College and UC Berkeley? Want to
develop your own campaign -- or assist others in developing theirs --
while earning academic credit?

The Palestine Freedom Project is still accepting internship
applications for the Summer, 2010 term. This year, in addition to our
regular internship program, we are pleased to offer a limited number
of "Synergy Internships" in which interns may spend up to fifty
percent of their hours working on tasks related to their own local
campaigns. Each intern participating in the program will be paired
with a veteran BDS organizer who will offer guidance and feedback.
Interns will receive academic credit if the necessary arrangements are
made with their academic institution.

A flier for the Synergy Internships is available at
http://www.palestinefreedom.org/sites/default/files/internsynergy.pdf.

The Summer internship term is from June 1st through August 22nd, 2010.
Applications must be received by March 30th, and all decisions will be
made by April 5th.

Interns work remotely, using online collaboration tools. Occasional
travel to conferences and other events may be requested, but is not
required.

Interns will be responsible for conducting critical research,
developing resources, and managing limited aspects of PFP's day-to-day
operations. We work closely with interns to tailor their duties to
their specific interests, and interns may choose a particular focus
for their internship, such as BDS organizing, event planning,
research, web development, or fundraising.

Typical duties of our volunteers and interns include:

* Editing and contributing content to PFP's website and publications

* Expanding our massive network of Palestine activist organizations

* Assisting in the management of a professional speakers bureau

* Participation in fundraising and external relations

Applicants should be energetic, highly-motivated self-starters with
significant experience in Palestine solidarity activism. Specific
skills and experience we look for include writing, editing, research,
marketing, public relations, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in
English is required, and advanced knowledge of other languages
(particularly French, Spanish, or Arabic) is highly desirable.
Experience with basic office software, such as word processing and
spreadsheet applications, is required. Knowledge of database,
presentation, desktop publishing, or project management software is a
major plus, and web development/administration skills even more so.

Women, people of color, and other minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
