Hello!

I got reply on rst2pdf list that rst2pdf cannot wrap text around
(floating) images due to limitation in reportlab.

Considering it's one of the features we're not happy about with
AsciiDoc, I wonder what is in Sphinx the procedure to wrap text around
floating images (left or right) for both HTML/PDF output?

Sincerely,
Gour

It works on HTML using CSS rules (Docutils feature). Docutils LaTeX writer
does currently not support text around figures - this is a TODO issue.
I don't know about Sphinx.

The reStructuredText syntax is described in
http://docutils.sourceforge.net/docs/ref/rst/directives.html#image and
http://docutils.sourceforge.net/docs/ref/rst/directives.html#figure

Example::

.. image:: picture.jpeg
:width: 200 px
:align: right

Yeah, that's expected.

Thank you. For how long it's on the TODO list?

Edit: I noticed that the list is updated on 2012-02-27.

Afaict, it does not support it as well which leads us to simply use
LyX/LaTeX.

Some years, AFAIK. Rather low priority.

I read this on the lyx users list.
