i18n: convert .pot back to .rst

Hi,

At PyMove3D we used translation service to convert from German to English.

Now we want to use English as default. Is there any way to get .rst files from

this translation?

The rst-files should be there as source files in _build/html/_sources,
after you build the english translation.

Just rename them from *.txt to *.rst.

Did JUH's reply answer your question?  Because IIUC you want translated reST (ie., source) files, which would require an additional reStructuredText writer.

Building a generic reST writer is complicated (for there is no direct reverse doctree/reST mapping, see StackOverflow.)  It seems some people have —nevertheless— tried, all released under the name rst2rst.  I cannot say anything about the quality of their works.  If you wish to move this into Sphinx (or sphinx.contrib) I'd happily review a pull request.

Yes. It answers the question, but I need some round tuits to validate how
structure of files in _build/html/_sources matches the initial ones.
