html_theme_options

I keep following alabaster documentation in circles and can not find any description of the html_sidebars 'about.html' or 'relations.html'. I can't find a description of what they do (other than what is "obvious" from the names) nor a list of their html_sidebar_options (?)

If I knew what they display I may want to use them, If I knew how.  Can someone point me in the right direction?
