VSCO Film 1,2 and 3 are presets for Lightroom and Photoshop. The three packs have a number of presets made to mimic different film stocks. I use all three packs, which presets I use generally depends on my own mood, i have used and use pretty much all of the presets, but I rarely use more than one colour and one black and white preset per wedding or shoot.
I stumbled across the review. I purchased 2 VSCO film packs yesterday and I'm pretty new to lightroom, so I was searching for some advices and tipps. That's a great review, thanks a lot! :) Now I have one question... are "Auto Black Levels/LR Lens Correction/Exposure Reduction" things you did manually, or is this something from within the VSCO Toolkit I just haven't found so far? Sorry if my question is stupid, but as I mentioned, Im totally new to LR & vsco...
Since I usually tend to slightly overexpose my pictures, I had some trouble with the vsco presets when trying out today, so I assumed I better expose correct or even underexpose to get better results, but didn't have time to try yet.. that was what I was actually searching for when I stumbled on your post :)
I came here to thank you for this amazing job you have done. I have never seen someone emulate vscocam for lightroom with such accuracy. I believe it must have been thousand of hours to make these but as soon as you can please add some more, it will be amazing.
