Dear All,

Please find enclosed the SITREP on A.P. Floods as on October 5, 2009.  Krishna, Guntur, Nalgonda and Kurnool Districts are the worst hit in the October 2009 Floods, leaving scores of people homeless. This flood is rated as the worst flood ever in 100 years. Added to this, the depression in Bay of Bengal and the chances of heavy rains, opens up higher possibility of flooding.

More reports will follow in the coming days.

Regards

Vikas Gora
