If you were to ask any one who speaks Hausa, they will tell you that using the word Begaruwa as a descripition of a Nigerian tanning agent is wrong and offensive as it is being used to deceive) We have lab tests, affidavits from museum officials in Sokoto, comments and affirmations from conservators world - wide. We have virtually unlimited access directly in Sokoto, Nigeria with our ever present staff on site.
