Hi Committed Co-op Volunteer Committee and Board People!

It's fall which means two things... I'll be racing home on October 31st to make sure I get my share of the Halloween candy that we hand out and...

It's Fall General Membership Meeting time!

On Thursday, October 23, from 6pm to 8pm the Co-op will be having its biannual gathering of all members and not-yet members to eat stuff, learn about the Co-op's progress, meet new members and reconnect with folks we haven't seen since the last meeting.

The meeting will take place in the chapel of St. John's Church on the corner of 13th and Tasker. As with many South Philadelphia locations, parking will not be ample... so plan accordingly. (1 block from the subway, 1 block from the closest 23 bus stop and across the street from the 29 bus stop... should be fairly easy to get there!)

But here's what YOU can do to encourage attendance and help spread the word about the event. Please take two minutes to go to the Facebook event page for the meeting and click on "Join" to let your Facebook connections know you are attending. Perhaps even comment on the page about how super excited you are for the meeting! (use of exclamation points is encouraged) Please also feel free to share the event by inviting Facebook friends of yours that you know are members or prospective members.

Activity on these event pages really helps drum up momentum for the events.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on 10/23!
