PLEASE READ: Update to Co-op Installment Plan Options Beginning Jan 6th

Hello Co-op Team!

Due to some changes to our online application system* we will no longer offer the "pay over 2 years"  as an installment plan option as of Jan 6 2015. 

We now offer just the following options on our paper/in-person* applications:

$200 one time 

$50 every month x 4 months

$25 every month x 8 months

Be sure to update your "pitch." The applications will be updated so it won't be an option to select a 2 year plan. However, I know a lot of us use "pay over 2 years" as a selling point. When you are talking to people about joining or writing communications for the co-op, please remove the "pay over 2 years" option from your pitch and replace it with "we have a payment plan if you need to divide your investment over several months" or something similar to that.

*NOTE: For those who "notice things", beginning on Jan 6th, the online application system Nation Builder will allow people to select the number of payments (1-8) they wish to make which will be automatically charged each month for a monthly increment for the number of payments selected. To keep things simple for those accepting money in-person, we limited the payment options to round numbers and only are offering options of 1, 4, and 8 installments.
