Hi there,

I just realized that Maria often forwards our monthly reports to the group after submitting them, and I haven't been doing that.  Here's our report for June. May looked a lot like this, without the details on the intern. 

I hope everyone's having an awesome summer and that PECO decides to forgive us our air conditioner use.

We are still waiting to hear back from the Philadelphia Activities Fund.    We are still in need of a volunteer or intern to help input our research into the grants calendar.  Sarah Anton and Rose Malinowski Weingartner will recruit an intern in the fall, and Sarah will supervise/mentor the intern.  Board and operations should call upon this grants group as needed when grants arise.  We have no budgetary needs at this time.  Please note that Maria Sourbeer will be out on maternity leave from June through August.  Rose Malinowski Weingartner will act as liaison with the board during that period.

Lots of exciting things happenings in our groups.  Membership is growing, gardens are signing up for the 4^th annual garden tour, and we have a new Outreach Coordinator coming on board at the end of the week!

 

On that note, please send me your monthly committee updates by this Friday, July 11th. Be sure to include your progress towards FY15 goals as well as any budget or policy requests that you would like the board to review at the meeting. Please write them in 3rd person and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
