Looking for a simple shell expression to check if spf13-vim is installed on a machine

Hi,

I am building my environment scripts and would like to find an expression (shell) to check if spf13-vim has already been installed on that environment.

What would be indicative of spf13-vim installation? 

Maybe:  if [ -d ~/.spf13-vim-3/ ]; then ... fi

or something better?
