Dear colleagues and friends,
We’re excited to invite you to the next SPEVI Early Intervention VI Community of Practice on Thursday 26th of March 2026, 3:30pm AEDT.
We will explore the newly released National Best Practice Framework for Early Childhood Intervention in Australia, now approved for publication by the Commonwealth Government.
National Best Practice Framework for Early Childhood Intervention.
In this session, facilitated by Tricia Izzard (Early Childhood Specialist Teacher, Vision Australia Children and Young People Team), we will:
• Introduce the new framework and its development
• Explore the extensive resources included, designed for service providers, families, referrers, Early Childhood Educators, and policymakers
This updated, research-based framework provides guidance for service providers working in early childhood intervention, supporting them to work effectively with families of children with developmental delays or disabilities. Join us to learn, share, and become familiar with this important new resource.
