Congratulations David Rice - Medal of the Order of Australia

It is with great pleasure that we share the news that David Rice has been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in today’s Australia Day Honours for service to people with disability.
This well-deserved recognition acknowledges David’s long-standing and generous contribution to our field and to our organisations. David has served ICEVI Pacific as Treasurer since 2007, SPEVI since 2014, and Round Table on Information Access for People with Print Disabilities since 2021.
Across all of these roles, David has been a steady, thoughtful and deeply committed contributor, giving his time and expertise in support of people with disability, inclusive education, and improved access to information for people with print disabilities.
On behalf of colleagues across Round Table, SPEVI and ICEVI, we extend our warmest congratulations and sincere thanks to David for his outstanding service.
