This webinar will showcase recent developments in Fiji and Samoa relating to implementation of the Marrakesh Treaty and efforts to increase access to accessible books for persons who are blind, have low vision, or are otherwise print disabled.
Participants will hear directly from leaders in Fiji and Samoa, together with a representative of the World Intellectual Property Organization’s Accessible Books Consortium (ABC), about national initiatives, regional collaboration, capacity building, and progress towards participation in the ABC Global Book Service.
The webinar will be of interest to organisations of persons with disabilities, educators, librarians, accessible format producers, government representatives, policy makers, and others interested in equitable access to information and education.
