Dear members of SPEVI, colleagues and friends,

As immediate past co-presidents we take great pleasure in formally announcing that the recordings of the 2025 SPEVI Conference are now available for public viewing at no cost.
The recordings have been added to the invaluable Open Access Online SPEVI Conference Paper Repository, on https://www.spevi.net/conference/papers-2025-conference/

The 2025 SPEVI Conference, hosted by SPEVI Inc, took place from 13-15 January 2025.
Delegates attended in person or online with dynamic programs tailored to both platforms.
The face-to-face event took place at the University of Southern Queensland city campus in Brisbane, Queensland.
The Conference Theme was 'EmPOWERment through connection, inclusion and education'.
Various special activities celebrated the 200th anniversary of Braille and the 70th year of SPEVI's first iteration.

The online repository offers the opportunity to relive or access the video recordings of the keynote presentations by Dr Chantelle Griffiths, Michael Sheppard, and Ben Clare, and the other fabulous presentations, panel discussions and workshops.

With thanks to all conference presenters and delegates, the SPEVI conference organising committee, the fantastic youth volunteers, and the Conference sponsors and exhibitors.

We look forward to seeing you all at SPEVI 2027!

Kind regards,

Melissa Fanshawe and Phia Damsma
