Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On 15 October 2025, White Cane Day, the International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment (ICEVI) celebrates the white cane as a symbol of independence, safety, and inclusion for people who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision.
This year, ICEVI also reminds colleagues of the Call for Submissions for the January 2026 issue of The Educator, which will focus on “Physical Activity: Orientation and Mobility, Sports and Recreation.” We welcome research articles, reports, technology updates, and lived-experience stories. Submission guidelines are available at https://icevi.org/resource-library/the-educator/.
Please share the attached message and social media post with your networks.
Warm regards,
Frances
