Dear friends and colleagues,
On behalf of the ICEVI Publications Committee, I am pleased to share the attached Call for Submissions for the July 2026 issue of The Educator.
The theme for this issue is: “Technology and Artificial Intelligence in the Education and Daily Life of Persons with Visual Impairment”
As digital innovation continues to reshape education, communication, accessibility, and daily living, we are keen to include diverse perspectives, research, programs, and lived experiences from across the blindness and low vision sector. We particularly encourage contributions that highlight regional and local initiatives, innovative practices, challenges, and emerging opportunities related to technology, accessibility, and artificial intelligence.
We warmly invite educators, researchers, professionals, organisations, families, and persons with lived experience to consider contributing to this important issue and to share the attached Call for Submissions widely throughout your networks.
The Educator provides an important global platform for sharing knowledge, innovation, and collaboration across the blindness and low vision sector. Recent issues have been published in English, Spanish, and French (Word and PDF formats), as well as Braille (BRF), helping to ensure broad accessibility and international reach.
