Where do you set the room persistence? Right now, if you enter a room
and type something, exit and then re-enter... what you typed isn't
there anymore. Is persistence set as an on/off or is it a value, such
as in minutes, hours or days?

Thanks!

All rooms in speeqe are default temporary.

To make a room persistent you have to configure the room to be so. In the top right corner there is an icon with a hammer and a wrench.  Click that to configure the room and mark the room as persistent.

Yes, I understand that part. In my implementation of Speeqe, users are
presented w/ a list of topics/rooms that are not moderated/ owned.
Plus, I've removed that functionality from the client because I do not
want anyone reconfiguring the rooms. That's why it would be helpful if
there was a way to change the default to be persistent.

The rooms are only visible for entry for a single day, then a new set
are available.

So is there no way to change something in any of the config files to
make it persistent?

You will need to create these rooms some other way. If you want a list of rooms, have a script or a bot create them and configure them however needed.
