I'v downloaded the speeqe-master.zip file from http://code.stanziq.com/speeqe/
and following the guidelines in http://code.stanziq.com/speeqe/wiki/SpeeqeSetupJavaScriptOnly
I couldn't get the JavaScriptOnly version working...

Looking at the speeqewebclient code I realized that the paths are all
wrong...
Is the online version not updated?

Which paths are incorrect?  The documentation is incomplete for the javascript only version.  You will still need a bosh server (punjab) and a webserver to proxy to the bosh server.  Its also possible that the paths to strophe are different in the newer version?  Let me know what paths you are having a problem with.
