I wrote a small script that binds Speedcrunch to the Numlock key (typical math major). I've been using it for 2-3 years.

If Speedcrunch is not open:
- single press inactive (prevents mistaken loads)
- double press to open Speedcrunch

If Speedcrunch is open and active:
- single press to minimize
- double press to close Speedcrunch

If Speedcrunch is open but inactive:
- single press to activate and focus
- double press to activate and focus

The script will automatically run when placed in the start folder.
I recommend enabling "Always on top" in the Speedcrunch settings.
