Thousands separator in the tooltip result?

I use the tooltip "pre-result" very often rather than hit Enter and print the result. The problem I have is that it does not have thousands separators, so it is hard to read. I currently use the decimal+comma Radix spect, but I don't think that affects the tooltip formatting. Is there any way to get separators into the tooltip? Thank you.
