Has anyone tested or know if Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 (the serialized version, not the subscription DC version) or an older serialized version works in an RDS farm/environment? Based off of their documentation it is not recommended but it seems like it should work:

Adobe Acrobat XI Pro 11.0.0.Seri

My serial number for Adobe Acrobat 2017 expired, so I bought a new one for Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020. I downloaded and installed the software and entered the serial number. When I try to open Adobe or a PDF document, the screen starts to open then crashes immediately. I can't get past this issue.

Per advice on another thread, I deleted Acrobat Pro, restarted my system, and then installed Acrobat DC. It worked fine. The next step was to upgrade DC to Pro, but the software asked me to purchase the upgrade - it didn't give me an option to enter my serial number.

I uninstalled all instances of Adobe products from my system, restarted the computer, and did a clean install of Acrobat 2020 Pro. However, it is still crashing on startup. I did see the registration screen flash up briefly before closing this time.

How do I solve this? I need more functionality than DC provides. I don't want to get a monthly subscription, especially since I already paid for a standalone serial number.

Let me clarify - the serial number for Acrobat Pro 2017 did not expire; Acrobat Pro 2017 reached end-of-life in June 2022. It continued to work for me until about two weeks ago when I received a notice that it would no longer be functional - thus, my attempted upgrade to Acrobat Pro 2023

I'm ready to pull out my hair. I have tried EVERYTHING to get this version to work on my Windows laptop but to no avail. I have a serial number for Acrobat 2020 and even when I run the AcroPro Windows Installer Package, it still does not work. Ugh. I even ran the patch and nothing has helped. It immediately opens then closes before I have the chance to do anything. I feel like there is NO support for this issue besides the question you posed above. I've rebooted a million times and uninstalled everything for Adobe I can find on my PC and then reinstalled it again and and again and it gives me the same error. "Sorry something went wrong". When I click on the "Learn More" button it tells me that it is a macOS error, which I did not download. I'm not sure what the issue is and why this isn't working. My 2017 version worked without issue for 3 years. Then said my serial number was no longer valid, so I purchased this new version, but I'm about to give up.

I had purchased an Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 (perpetual) for 2 PCs from a reseller here in Australia in February 2019. I was provided with a serial number that I assumed will work with both computers. I had registered the serial number to my Adobe account right away and have been using it on my laptop for the past year perfectly.

I did not need to use it on a second computer until now. I tired to use the same serial number but received a message saying, "The serial number you have entered has been revoked. This product cannot be licensed." I contacted the reseller to follow up and apparently I had to activate the serial number within 30 days on my second PC, implying it is no longer usable on a second PC.

They sent me another serial number to use on my second PC but I am unable to register it to my Adobe products. I get the error message saying, "This serial number is already in use." I contacted the reseller to follow up again and they mentioend they have provided me with an OEM serial number for my second PC and that OEM serial numbers cannot be registered to Adobe accounts. They also mentioned that the reason I am receiving the error message is becuase I have already used the serial number for activation.

I have looked online and it appears you cannot transfer ownership of OEM licences. I am worried that if this serial number stops working for any reason, such as it is registered to someone else or I purchase a new PC, I will not be able to use the second licence again.

Just an update, I have spent 8 hours yesterday chatting to Adobe Customer Service and after 8-9 representatives, I finally learnt that the original licence provided to me was a counterfeit. Apparently up until last year these counterfeit serial numbers were getting through and once activated, Acrobat would remain fully functional. They have since cracked down on it and have been disabling these counterfeit keys so that they cannot be used further. Adobe has provided me a written confirmation in

I was contacted via private message by Adobe moderators to contact via email. Their response was, "Adobe Account registration is no longer available for Perpetual license of the software." The serial number is working fine. I'm just worried that if I ever have to change computers, it might stop working. But I guess I'll have to cross that bridge when I get to it.

Adobe has provided me a written confirmation in an email that the serial number is a counterfeit. I have contacted the reseller for a refund. Hopefully they will agree to it after seeing the confirmation from Adobe. Otherwise I will ask for legal advice.

They do need to re-register on each machine. I know users have a limited number of registrations but I don't recall if they have the ability to remove prior devices, which would be necessary for this to work in a pooled random configuration like ours. We ended up doing this via XA since we only have a few XA servers. Our Adobe reps told us they don't support our configuration (or any of their Cloud series of products in XA or XD) but since we are paying for the correct amount of licensing that they are okay with us doing it. But they make no claims as to whether it will continue to work in future updates.

I think if you're installing the old serial-key licensed version those instructions work. If you're talking about their subscription based, "Cloud" (Adobe account) licensing model, I don't think those instructions apply.

I have adobe DC installed in W7-32 pooled mcs desktops with no issues, installed on the gold image, updated catalog and done. i use citrx upm for the profiles and my users don't have an issue so perhaps this is why, in regards to the licensing, i got that settled with adobe

We need to install Adobe Acrobat DC Std on XA 7.15 - this will be a published App. I don't see any straight forward instructions. The best article that I have been able to locate has been - -adobe-acrobat-in-a-non-persistent-environment/

Well my friend.. you are in luck!! :) I have implemented Acrobat DC via serialized activation. First things first; is the volume license you have the kind that doesn't require you to sign into the adobe login?

3. Next, create a customization msp file for acrobat dc; the main thing being in the "Personalization Options" to NOT put in the serial number and to CHECK the "Allow standalone Acrobat deployment with CCE serial" and also CHECK the "Suppress display of EULA" and then set any other setting you need for DC and save the MSP file.

4. Next step is to create prov.xml file that is created by using the adobe_prtk.exe utility. You can do this on your workstation where you have the customization wizard installed. The adobe_prtk.exe files are included with this.

7. Once this is ran, you will want to then open up Acrobat DC and let it sit a few minutes to verify no sign in window comes up. Then close acrobat and you should have a properly serialized acrobat dc setup.

Older installations of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC have a serial number that expired on August 31st, 2021. Acrobat is now licensed on a per-user basis via an Adobe Enterprise ID. If you do not have an Adobe Enterprise ID with an Acrobat license, you can submit an Adobe license request form.

1. After license expiration on August 31st you may see a prompt asking for a Serial Number. Do not enter a serial number. Simply choose Quit and relaunch Acrobat. Upon relaunch you will be prompted to sign in.

Permanently Offline If your computer is permanently offline (i.e. secure environments like government, banking etc.) you need to complete an offline activation within 7 days of the first launch of the software otherwise it will stop working. You need an internet enabled device and your product's serial number to complete this process.

Finding the Adobe acrobat serial number can be done in a few ways. Considering Adobe has been serving the designing community with great programs since 1982. it's primarily known for Photoshop and Illustrator - two of its most valuable editing programs.

But what happens if you lose the Adobe Acrobat Serial number? Since over 1 billion people use this tool, you can be sure many people lose their activation codes. So, if you're wondering how do I find my adobe acrobat serial number, then let's dive in and explore a few ways you can find it.

First, we'll use a product key finder to find Adobe Acrobat serial number. Because the best way to find the key of any software is through a specialized product key software. In this case, we're talking about EaseUS Key Finder, which is an exceptional tool to churn out any lost or forgotten program keys.

Step 2. View Applications Registry Keys on the right panel. EaseUS Key Finder will show all keys of installed software. Copy the targeted serial numbers. Also, you can click "Print" or "Save".
