My first full-length book of speculative poetry, On The Other Side of the Eye, will be published this August by Sam's Dot Publishing.

This is the largest assembly of my work so far, drawn from 17 years of my writing and performances. My work has been featured in Asia, Australia, Europe and across North America.

In On The Other Side of the Eye, I am concerned with themes of perspective and the search for truth. Readers will roam secret wars and ancient kingdoms to the edges of the human soul and the universe. We will explore science, myth, and global history in a unique journey of poetry and language.

Between 1954-1975, Laos was engaged in a bloody war for control between the Royal Lao Government and the Pathet Lao that ultimately displaced thousands to resettle as refugees around the world.   On The Other Side of the Eye is one of the first full-length books of poetry to appear from the expatriate Lao community since the end of the war.

A public reading will be held in August at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis to mark the release of this book.

Thanks for all of your support!
