Strange error/bug?

Spectroid seems to be not working on my Pixel 3a at present. Video attached of the weird display.

Any ideas? Is it picking up internal phone noise?

Settings > Miscellaneous > Test Signal > Off

Test Signal puts a signal directly into the audio processing algorithms, bypassing the microphone. It's used as a consistent signal for testing out the effect of different selections in the Audio settings. (Maybe I should remove it though; I'm not sure anyone other than me uses it, and it seems to be a source of confusion.)

Hi Carl,
I was thinking, as other people here (as far as I was able to read), that this feature was a signal generator, aimed to be sent from the device physical output.

Yeah, I should make it clearer in the UI. I just haven't had any time to work on it.

Should have replied ages ago - thank you. Solved the problem. I must have turned it on out when browsing settings out of curiosity and forgotten about it.#
