The FAQ contains this, which I assume is the reason for this request not getting a reply:
Q: Can I export the spectrum data?
A: Spectroid doesn't make your device a calibrated instrument. If you need the spectrum data then you should be using an actual spectrum analyzer rather than an app on your mobile device.
While that might be true, I find the accuracy to be extremely good.
I've used an online tone generator to check the full frequency range using a cheap built-in PC speaker + a cheap phone and the FFT peak was spot-on.
Even if there was more variance the results would probably still be sufficient for most use-cases.
That said, it'd be great to have a feature to log a CSV of the FFT bucket dB at the set transform interval to a specified location.
This would be mostly aimed at a lower number of buckets and slower intervals, as this would create a lot of data otherwise.
The waterfall recording seems sufficient for the short-term, but becomes impractical when leaving it running over night.
A searchable CSV is way more useful there than a long screen capture to scroll through.
It'd be great to have the write operations without flush after each step, to prolong the life of the SDcard when logging.
