Hello!

I'm doing some performance comparison testing and would like to be able to get throughput for uploading a file from a client to data being policy-compliant on tape i.e. not just received by the BP cache. Sorry if I'm missing it but I can't see any options for this in ds3_java_cli? I wondered if this is supported?

Many thanks,

Daniel.

Thanks for your inquiry.

You are correct that the performance tests measure only transfer speeds to cache. To check for full persistence you would want to poll the GetJob or GetPhysicalPlacement calls. (GetJob would return the start and complete times.)
