Hmm. That's an interesting idea (though the Spam and Trash folders would have to be ignored), I'm not certain that the gmail feeds allow this though.

In the meantime, it's also possible to set gmail to activate IMAP, and use a specto IMAP mail watch on specific folders of that gmail account.

I also was looking for this exact same feature. I'll setup those
extra IMAP probes as suggested (thanks, I hadn't thought of that!),
but it would be great if this could be integrated as part of the gmail
watcher.

I just thought of something though, doesn't gmail have an "All messages" label of some kind that could be used to watch?

Also, if you still need a feature implemented for this, file an issue in the bug tracker to allow us to keep track of it more easily (I often forget about the stuff when it's on a mailing list).
