What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. launching from shell

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Specto 0.3.1; Ubuntu Lucid 10.04


Please provide any additional information below.
Worked perfectly till some days ago.
Since today refused to start.
Tried to purge and reinstall via apt-get. Same effect.

This is the output:
$ specto

Hi, your ~/.local/share/specto/watches.list file is probably corrupt...
you will need to edit it or remove it. I think this is a duplicate of an
existing bug report, but I can't find which one right now.

Also, please upgrade to Specto 0.4. It might be a bug that was fixed in
that version.
