I presume the xfce indicator applet is strictly the same as the one in
the "classic gnome session" (the one in unity is broken, see issue 332),
and you're asking for specto to show its updates directly in the indicator
applet instead of just "sitting there".

I think this feature request makes sense, but I won't be working on it
myself. Patches welcome.
