So let's just start by jotting down what Samurai Warriors 4-II actually includes. Its main draw is story mode, which, instead of following the narratives of particular clans, follows the tales of individual characters. Unsurprisingly, this augments the events of Japan's warring period with a more personal feel, as you get to know the involved samurai and watch their legends unfold.
As with the previous instalment, 4-II differentiates fights with tough samurai from brawls with lesser soldiers by giving you two separate means of attack. Mapped to triangle, hyper attacks cut through rank and file troops like butter, but officers will shrug them off like they're nothing. Against these boss-like rivals, you'll have to push square for normal attacks, and throw in the odd tap of triangle to unleash more powerful charge attacks that tie into your combos.
This will most likely be the last trophy you obtain in this game (depending on how you play the game). When working towards this trophy, you will also be working towards Completionist and A Tale of Unification. This trophy is the most time-consuming out of them all, especially since there was a change to the story and an extra story added. You should make sure to play as the four characters that are not available to use in story mode to works towards Variety is the Spice of Life (Refer to the link for more information). Just like the previous game (Samurai Warriors 4), there will be stories that contain small pools of characters and large pools of characters. Some of the battles may be repetitive since they will carry over to other stories with the same amount of characters, just from a different perspective. The good thing about this is that almost all the objectives are the same (that is if they share battles). You can keep track of your progress through the vault, but I would advise that you do not do this as it is time-consuming. The only time you need to use the vault is when you are creating your warriors.
Since there is the introduction of survival mode and the story mode for samurai warriors is extended from its former game, this trophy is easier to come by since all you need to do is try to aim for 500-1000 KOs per battle. When aiming to get S ranks in survival for the trophies Challenge Accepted and Challenge Conquered, there are two chambers which are specific to the number of KOs you achieve (Refer to Challenge Conquered for full details), you should be able to get this trophy in no time. Once the system has recognised that you have reached 100,000 KOs, the trophy should pop.
