Hi Folks, it is with regret that I have to inform everyone that on our behalf Al Thompson has spoken to Gavin at the Hunting Lodge today and informed him that there will be no official get together this year. We have done this because of the uncertainty being caused by the Coronavirus outbreak and the probable future restrictions being laid down by the government. So to ensure that Gavin does not go and order in lots of stock etc. we thought it best to make the decision now. Gavin totally understands and says that there are 6 of his rooms currently booked out to our group and asks that those who have booked please call him or Sian on 01509412337 if they wish to cancel the rooms and that there is no charge being made for cancellations. There will be many others who have also booked accommodation and made travel arrangements and it is only fair that a decision has been made early to enable cancellations to be made if required. Of course some may wish to carry on and meet up at Barrow with friends subject to the location being open. Al is going to post this on the Facebook page and I will send an email to those who I have emails for but please disseminate it as you see fit to ensure as many as possible know about the cancellation, thank you. All that remains is for me to say, stay safe and well and hopefully we will meet up again in May 2021 and wonder what all the fuss was about.

Thanks for all the hard work done by yourself, your team, and the Hunting Lodge. I would have had to cancel anyway due to restrictions put in place by the Cyprus Govt. That doesn't mean I'm not appreciative of the efforts made on my behalf.
Anyway I'd sooner calibrate 101years than 100!
Stay fit, keep well and I'll see you next year!
